ABOUT

From between the Northern Ostrobothnia flat fields and Bothnian Bay's cold winds emerges roaring rock with metal influences. The Government was founded in 2012 when two brothers Aleksi (guitar) and Konsta (bass) met their new friends in secondary school. Boys got together with Juho (lead guitar) and Juha (drums) and soon were joined by a mutual friend Roope (lead vocals). Latest band member and the third brother, guitarist Aatos joined the band in 2022. Band played only cover-based gigs for years, composing their own music slowly besides those study times and military services. The latest single @The Crown was released in November 2023. The band is currently working on the next single and finally the first studio album as a bigger waypoint.
